The state-of-the-art Multi-Interface IP Field Exchange ITFX is based on IP switching technology. It employs a non-blocking circuit switching concept and interfaces to strategic and other tactical communication networks via exchange trunk lines or over E1/PRI interface or IP trunks. ITFX has built-in radio inter-op functionality supporting up to two radio nets. HF/VHF/UHF radio nets can communicate over any of the subscribers connected to the system. Also, Ethernet port (10/100Mb) is provided for mapping data up to 2Mb (nx64kbps) over E1 links.
